This is a novel that tells the story of Shi Luoyi, who wakes up one day to find herself transported back sixty years into the past. Her goal is to seek a way to eliminate the demonic influence haunting her heart.
Shi Luoyi was born into nobility but faced hardship early on: her mother passed away when she was young, and her father fell into a deep slumber, leaving her alone to guard the Eternal Night Immortal Mountain. Three years ago, her uncle, the Sect Leader of Hengwu Sect, ordered her to descend from the mountain to train within the sect. There, everyone compared her to her junior sister, Bian Qingxuan, the “Favored One” blessed with extraordinary luck. Bian Qingxuan constantly plotted against her, creating obstacles that eventually led to the birth of a demonic influence in Shi Luoyi’s heart.
Despite always being overshadowed, Shi Luoyi managed to triumph once—and in doing so, grew closer to Bian Qingxuan’s older brother, Bian Lingyu. Now, given this chance to relive the past, Shi Luoyi decides to let go of old grievances and, with the help of Bian Lingyu, returns to the Immortal Mountain to confront and resolve the demonic influence within her.
