How Can I Love My Murderer 碧海燃灯抄
During the Great Kalpa of Longhan, Shaocang followed his master’s order to suppress the three great Pangu races. The Qilin priest Lanyin fought Shaocang with all her might but was defeated. Her corpse was suspended from a mast for ten thousand years. Before her death, she cursed Shaocang to grow old in eternal solitude.
After the Great Kalpa of Wuliang, Shaocang succeeded as the Heavenly Emperor. A solitary man devoid of the six desires, only the current life of Changqing can resolve this predicament…
Shaocang: “Under this magnificent Heavenly Dao, I can be ruthless toward anyone, but toward you alone, I have exhausted all my strength. If you do not love me, there is nothing I can do; however, as the Heavenly Emperor, I must obtain what I desire. Who says twisted fruit is not sweet? As long as you are by my side, I am happy. Everyone advises me to let things take their natural course, but I refuse! I want you, even if you fall into the demonic path, even if it means becoming enemies with the entire world, I will never give up on you!”
Changqing: “Shaocang, is there anything you cannot do? Your so-called love is entirely self-centered. As long as you can achieve your goals, you will use any means necessary—all because this Heavenly Dao is entirely in your hands!
Please remember my words, Your Majesty: it is impossible for me to ever reconcile with you. I could not in my past life, and I cannot in this one. Please keep your deep affection to yourself; I do not need a person who exposed my corpse for ten thousand years to speak of love to me. You should return to your Biyun Celestial Palace and continue being your Heavenly Emperor.”
