Withering Here While Blossom Everywhere (月都花落，沧海花开)
It seems this is how the whole story began.
In ancient times, the Divine Venerable Yinze was recognized and highly regarded by the Heavenly Emperor. He once refined the Azure Stone for the Goddess Nüwa, helping her gather the Five-Colored Stones to mend the heavens. He also helped the Xuanyuan clan defeat Chiyou at Zhuolu. After Gonggong angrily struck Mount Buzhou, Yinze succeeded him, becoming the second God of the Vast Ocean. Hongjun personally bestowed upon him the water god’s mark on his face, and Fuxi draped the Vast Ocean Divine Robe over him. In the divine realm, he was young, promising, and had an otherworldly appearance, yet he could not win the heart of the woman he loved. To make her happy, he used the divine realm’s “Luo River” to build a hollow city “Suzhao” on the moon. Over time, due to the spiritual energy of the Luo River itself, a spirit was born in the city a hundred years later. Named the Suzhao Clan, this spirit quickly built Suzhao into a thriving and prosperous city.
Luo Wei, the little princess of Suzhao’s fifth generation of rulers, grew up with her foster brother, Fu Chenzhi. One day, Fu Chenzhi was framed by an immortal with malicious intentions toward Suzhao and fled the city. Before leaving, Fu Chenzhi confessed his love to Luo Wei and promised that when he became a powerful immortal, he would return to marry her. Shortly after he left, Luo Wei was also ambushed by an immortal, suffered injuries, and was forced to flee.
After leaving Moon City, Luo Wei joined an immortal sect and reunited with her foster brother. She discovered that her foster brother was not a mortal after all, but the illegitimate son of a goddess. Their master was none other than the Divine Venerable Yinze himself. Like all of the Suzhao Clan, Luo Wei was ignorant of the outside world, and her supreme deity was the legendary Divine Venerable Yinze. She never expected that her reverence for her master would gradually transform into a faint affection. However, Yinze also developed feelings for his disciple—feelings he had never experienced in seven thousand years. He initially thought he was merely seeing his departed lover, Shangyan, in her, but he didn’t realize he had already fallen deeply in love. When a great drought plagued the world, Yinze willingly sacrificed all his divine power to protect Luo Wei, returning to the cosmic void. In her final moments, Luo Wei finally learned the truth and used her remaining divine power to sink Suzhao into the deep sea, far from the bright moon. In her very last breath, Yinze’s final wisp of a soul led Luo Wei into an illusion, where they met again at the beginning of their lives.
