Synopsis:
The Flower Demon Shao Zi is a creature who understands gratitude. Having been taken in by the inn's old proprietor, she vowed to guard the inn for the rest of her life.
However, after the new proprietor took office, the originally peaceful inn changed. One by one, demons, ghosts, monsters, and even ordinary mortals, all with unfulfilled wishes, began to stir up trouble.
Shao Zi initially exerted herself, trying her best to drive away these mischievous spirits and creatures. But later, she discovered that every guest who stayed at the inn had their own hidden struggles and dilemmas.
She experienced the most precious human emotions through these guests. Sharing in their sadness and their joy, she tasted a sense of fulfillment she hadn't known for five hundred years.
Yet, helping others always comes with a price. When she hesitated about whether to offer aid, fearing the inn might be damaged, someone stood firmly by her side.
"You use your kindness to help others, and I will use my strength to protect you."
