Synopsis:
After finishing his long stay abroad, Jae-hyuk reunites with his first love, Hee-soo, after ten years at a drinking gathering of third-generation chaebols. Hee-soo, once a top actress, had fallen from grace due to an unfortunate incident, and her image was at rock bottom. Now, she’s in a desperate situation, even attending such gatherings just to land acting roles. Despite all the resentment he held against Hee-soo, Jae-hyuk realizes that his feelings for her are still strong.
“Why didn’t you answer my calls back then? I searched for you everywhere. I thought I was going to go crazy wanting to see you.”
“...What’s the point of saying this now? It’s all in the past.”
“Ha, Seo Hee-soo. You’re really terrible. You’re a bad woman.”
“I know. I am.”
But Jae-hyuk can’t seem to let her go. He begins investigating her and finds out that she’s in a crisis.
“Give me a proper chance to say goodbye. In exchange, I’ll help you regain your career as an actress.”
Using her desperate situation to his advantage, he proposes a contract relationship. As they continue their meetings, he starts uncovering the secrets of why Hee-soo left him without a word in the past...
