Synopsis:
Seol-ah, who has lived for 10 years doing all sorts of hard labor after being sold due to debt. She receives an order from her master to lock someone in the back room and get him addicted to opium.
That dawn, A man, dragged in while the rain drizzled down, was locked in the back room, unconscious.

“Ugh!”
Suddenly, something snatched her wrist. Seol-ah unconsciously let out a groan and raised her head. The man, whom she thought was unconscious, was staring at her with wide, pale eyes. In his long, narrow eyes were dark pupils like a full moon. The perfectly black pupils slowly traced over her hat, her half-hidden eyes, and her mask, then went back up to her eyes. Even though their eyes had only met, she couldn’t move. It felt as if a beast’s hot, fishy tongue, not just a gaze, was passing over her face.
The man opened his lips as if to speak. It would be a big problem if he said anything and the master heard his voice. Seol-ah hurriedly covered the man’s mouth. His lips touched her rough palm.
“Shh… Please be quiet, please.”
